Tregaron Bog (or Cors Carron in Welsh) is a nature reserve located close to Tregaron town in Mid West Wales. The scene in my painting shows the end of Winter just before Spring commences. I liked the way the hard winter light made a pleasing scene out of all the old vegetation such as the varied marsh grasses. This acrylic painting is on stretched canvas but remains unframed.
