After sketching this out several times it was only after I started painting that I realised what was missing from the scene.
I introduced more yellow to the straw bonnet to mimic the flower crown of the dandelion and painted her dress in green to imitate the foliage of the plant.
As the painting now morphed to my familiar folklore theme, it could never be completely transformed without a tiny pixie being transported on a seed carrier
