Lee McCarthy

I left school with very few qualifications and followed in my fathers footsteps and became a landscape garden designer. I have been sketching and painting as a hobby all my life. I took up art on a professional level just over 2 years ago, since then i have had numerous exhibitions and shows. I paint harbour scenes and coastal landscapes mostly as i have been inspired by visits to these places from a child. I do paint other subjects including still life, cityscapes and portraiture. I have just recently been published and some of my work can be found in selected galleries across the UK.
